Sustainability Careers Seminars

career seminar

Led by one of Chicago's most experienced and broadly knowledgeable sustainability professionals, these seminars provide the insight and direction required to understand and develop a position in this growing sector. More than a "green jobs" information session, the workshops have been refined from the feedback of over 500 participants to empower participants to define their career development strategy and take tangible next steps toward realizing a more meaningful and fulfilling vocation.

The small group sessions encourage interaction and allow for attention to individual questions. The courses employ a variety of presentation modes to keep the workshops relevant, engaging, and pertinent to attendee interests. Participants receive an extensive annotated resource guide to help inform and propel their journeys.

Peter Nicholson and David Reynolds initially developed Foresight's Sustainability Careers Workshops. Sadhu Johnston, Lindsay James, and Laura Flanigan also contributed to their format and content, along with hundreds of past participants and many other colleagues in the Chicago sustainability community.
