Spark advantageous connections, relax over a beer, and benefit from a relevant panel discussion at Foresight Green Drinks, a monthly event held at the Jefferson Tap. As the oldest and best-known sustainability gathering in town, Foresight Green Drinks is a Chicago institution that has connected and edified the community since 2003. The event is designed to catalyze the connections and awareness necessary to create a more sustainable city.

Foresight Green Drinks attracts a unique cross section of artists, activists, businessmen, students, non-profiteers, and government representatives who are united by an interest in sustainability issues. Anyone is welcome to attend. This event is part of an international movement thriving in over 300 international cities.

Beginning in April 2012, Foresight Green Drinks will feature a series of discussions on different facets of sustainable civic innovation. The line up includes:

Where, When, and How

The admission fee, which supports the staff time and resources necessary to run the event, is a suggested range of $9 to $20 ($5.50 for students, unemployed, and low-income). Beverages and food are available for purchase from the Jefferson Tap. Green Drinks alternates monthly between Tuesdays and Wednesdays (see the events calendar for exact dates). The schedule is as follows:

5:30p - Event Starts
5:45-6:15p - Power Networking (optional)
6:45-7:45p - Panel Discussion
8:30p - Event Ends

People are invited to drop in and leave at any time. Due to state law, attendees must be 21 and over.
