Logistics

Schedule

Foresight Immersion meets 35 hours per week. The schedule may occasionally be shifted earlier or later in order to accommodate certain speakers. Meeting locations include the Foresight Studio (located in Lincoln Square), the Haworth showroom (located in the Merchandise Mart), various field trips around the city, and local coffee shops (for project work, if desired). Some evening and weekend work on projects should be expected.

Tuition

Application Fee: $25

Tuition: $2950

Non-Refundable Deposit: $300 (Space in the program is not guaranteed until deposit is received. The final deposit deadline is April 14.)

Payment plans are available for a minimal surcharge, as well as limited financial aid. Please email Immersion@foresightdesign.org for more information.

Refund Policy

All Immersion tuition payments, including the deposit, are non-refundable. If a personal emergency prevents you from starting or completing the program, please contact us. At Foresight's discretion, a refund may be offered. (Foresight reserves the right to determine if circumstances are extenuating and warrant a refund.)

Housing

Participants needing housing have a variety of options. In the past Fellows have joined the community at the Stone Soup Cooperative (the modest rent also includes food—those interested must fill out an application). Additionally, the Chicago rental housing market often has furnished sublets: the best resources to find listings are Craiglist and the Chicago Reader.
