Alternative multi-disciplinary design school that exposes its students to pressing social problems, often through partnerships with local social service agencies and non-profits,for which the students design innovative solutions. Based in downtown Chicago, the school also holds a public lecture series addressing societal issues in design.

The Conway School of Environmental Landscape Design

According to Conway alum and Chicago Landscape Designer Laurie Tanenbaum, Conway has one of the most exciting programs in the country. It exposes its 18 students a year to everything from a typical home lot to global design with environmental practice. Located in Conway, MA, the school is dedicated to exploring, developing, practicing, and teaching design of the land that is ecologically and socially sustainable.
