Chicago's Sustainability Organizations

Foresight's Chicago Green Drinks event was standing room only on January 17, 2007. More than 220 people came out to socialize, network, and get an overview of the Chicago sustainability scene. Representatives from 29 local sustainability organizations each briefly explained what they do and how the public might participate. A list of presenters, including a short description and website for each, is available below and for download in MS Word and PDF formats. Foresight encourages everyone to pick an issue/organization and get involved!

This list is not a comprehensive roster of Chicago-area sustainability organizations, but rather an imperfect effort at a selective sampling. Please see the Chicago Environmental Network and the Illinois Environmental Council for more info.
