I hope you noticed. Foresight is fortunate to have a diversely talented staff that truly enjoys working together. Innovating around sustainability issues requires assembling the right people as much as developing insightful ideas. My vision for Foresight’s success involves the organization evolving beyond me, its founder. Achieving that requires attracting and retaining valued co-workers, and providing them a platform to excel. This includes sharing leadership. This Forecast issue is indicative of a process that is starting to blossom. A few weeks ago, my colleagues suggested they contribute more substantially to this weekly thought archive. The first installments of their new series are below. When this organizational evolution feels threatening to me, I reassure myself by remembering the benefits. I hope you enjoy these initial posts as much as I have enjoyed watching them emerge. I think the Forecast, and our enterprise, will be better for them.
