A Triple Win?

Limited Edition: Order Today!
I don’t like saying “ no.” It is especially difficult when the recipients are bright, engaged, passionate young people from diverse backgrounds who are eager to learn. At Foresight, we’re always reaching for those powerful solutions that provide multiple benefits. Several years ago, my friend Tom Bachtell, a renowned illustrator whose dynamic work regularly graces The New Yorker magazine, among other high profile publications, sent me a great notecard featuring one of his drawings. I loved the work's brilliant combination of whimsy and profundity, how it highlighted the issue of climate change, with no words necessary. Fast forward to a few months ago, when we began receiving a larger than anticipated stack of applications to our high school summer program requesting need-based scholarship support. Rejecting these motivated students with impressive grades, teacher recommendations and personal essays is painful and unjust. Leveraging our entrepreneurial verve and talented friends, Foresight’s staff rose to the occasion. Ordering one (or more!) of our new, limited edition grocery and lunch bags will help you reduce your environmental impact, make a (dare I say, fun?) statement about climate change and, most importantly, empower diverse, next generation leaders to connect with peers, deepen their knowledge, and better realize the potential of their talents to create positive solutions.

Don’t need any bags? You can still contribute by donating to our crowdfunding campaign for one of our students, in particular, here

Reconsidered?

In light of the current national political context, I’ve been pondering what my organization should do.
